1. Citizenship education can be defined as the process of enlightening or training citizens on their rights and responsibilities.

2.( i ) Obedience of law: It is the duty on every citizen to obey the laws of the state, it is because law enforces. Harmon and peaceful co- existence in the country.
(ii) Payment of Tax: Every citizen in a country is inquired to pay his/ her tax to the state without failing.
(iii) Allegiance: This implies respect for political leaders, the National Anthem and the National flag.
(iv) Defence of the state: It is the duty of every citizen to defend the state in times of war.
(v) Service to the state: A citizen is required to serve his/ her country in any capacity.

3.  A citizen can be defined as a legal member of a state who possesses full. constitutional rights.
